— And the votes are in!

At the closing reception for the show Members Show, Chair Virginia Epps announced the winners of the viewer's choice awards. The winners were chosen by attendees of the Whitewater Arts Alliance's Members Show at the Cultural Arts Center. The piece with the highest number of votes was photographed for the 2013 poster and those with the four next highest numbers of votes were photographed to be made into note cards. GMA Printing in Whitewater reproduced the images for the note-cards and poster.

The Choice Winner for the poster was Virginia Epps. The card winners are: Mary Anne Gerlach, Everett Long, Don McCready, and Karolyn Alexander Tscharnack.

Following were the winners:

M. Virgina Epps - "Watching" - Paper and Color Pencil

Mary Anne Gerlach - "On the Nature Trail" - Acrylic Painting (attached photo)

Everett Long - "Preening Great Egret" Color Photography

Don McCready - "Woods" - Oil on Canvas

Karolyn Alexander Tscharnack - "Roxie" - Watercolor

The posters are $30 for Whitewater Arts Alliance members and $35 for non-members. Cards are $1.25 each. Posters and cards will be available for purchase at the Cultural Arts Center, 402 W. Main Street, during regular exhibit hours beginning after January 5.
