August tapped to chair two committees
LAKE GENEVA Rep. Tyler August (R-Lake Geneva) was named to seven key committees in the State Assembly, and will chair two of them, according to a release from his office. The sophomore legislator from the town of Geneva represents the 32nd Assembly District.
“I’m looking forward to building upon the achievements of the previous legislative session,” said August. “I’m excited and honored to serve a second term and am eager to roll up my sleeves and continue making Wisconsin a better place to live, work, and retire.”
August will serve as the Chairman of both the Government Operations & State Licensure Committee as well as the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions. August was named Vice-Chairman of the Labor Committee and will be a member of the Health, Judiciary, and State Affairs committees as well as a member of the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules. Representative Robin Vos (R-Burlington), who will serve as the new Speaker for the State Assembly this session, appointed August to the committees.
Due to redistricting changes the 32nd Assembly District boundaries have changed. The District now encompasses portions of Walworth County including the municipalities of Delavan, Lake Geneva, East Troy, and Genoa City, as well as the town of Wheatland in Kenosha County and part of the town of Burlington in Racine County.

I for one completely disagree with the previous comments. I was saddened when I was no longer in State Representative Tyler August's Assembly district, but know him to be a man of impeccable integrity and high character. He and I have disagreed in the past but he has ALWAYS been straight with me. It saddens me that members of the electorate take cheap and anonymous shots at our legislators. I for one would love to see a time where we could disagree with a sense of decorum and empathy. Maybe I'm too Idealistic, but one can certainly root for that type of discourse. Thank you State Representative Tyler August for your dedication and concern for the people of the 32nd Assembly District.

Obviously, based on Rep. August's lack of experience and intellect, Republicans place a greater emphasis on lap dog like obedience above an individuals character or substance. I'm sure August will fill the role of a brown nose as he's expected to be.

Tyler is a sophomore legislator that seem to be more into telling people who visit him what they want to hear than actually listening to what they are saying and engage them in an intelligent discussion.
