Parker gymnasts win dual meet
Hailey Leisten and the Janesville Parker gymnastics team soared to its first Big Eight Conference win Tuesday night.
Leisten won three events plus the all-around to lead the Vikings to a 125.375-123.075 win over Madison Memorial.
Leisten, a junior, won the vault, uneven bars and balance beam, while teammate Brecklyn Skaleski won floor exercise.
"Overall, we're getting better and seeing improvement each and every meet," Parker coach Cathy Lehmann said. "And that's encouraging.
"We're getting a little healthier and coming together as a team."
Parker (1-2 in the Big Eight) competes in the Westosha Central Invitational on Jan. 5.
