Blumer leads Milton past Lake Geneva

Milton High withstood visiting Lake Geneva Badger's third-quarter rally Tuesday for 48-39 victory in nonconference girls basketball.
Morgan Blumer scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the first half as the Red Hawks rolled to a 27-12 lead.
The Badgers cut the deficit to 32-31 after three quarters with a 19-5 advantage. Karina Reeves scored 10 of her team-high 14 points to lead Badger in the third.
Milton shook off Badger's challenge with a 16-8 fourth quarter effort as Blumer scored eight points after going scoreless in the third.
