DELAVAN--We're not in Elkhorn anymore.

Technically, the Walworth County Visitors Bureau has to wait until the end of December to say that, but the agency is getting settled into its new home in the Lake Lawn Resort's former airport building along Wisconsin HIghway 50 in Delavan.

Director Kathleen Seebring noted she will still be in Elkhorn greeting visitors every other day until Dec. 31 and the move is complete.

Seebring said the lease in the WCVB's former home in Elkhorn at the former Uncle Hunk's Junk building, was up when the opportunity to move to Delavan became available. The WCVB was sharing space in Elkhorn with the Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce, which is staying put.

"We are very excited, and will have signage on (Interstate) 43 probably in January or February," Seebring said in an email.

Meanwhile, visitors can catch the signs near the new site in Delavan.
