Nelson lifts Evansville in OT
Tia Nelson was the difference-maker for Evansville High's girls basketball team Thursday night.
Nelson made four free throws in overtime, and Kayle Klitzman scored a game-high 26 points to lead Evansville to a 70-67 Rock Valley North Conference win over visiting McFarland.
Evansville (2-3, 1-2) led by four at half but McFarland scored 28 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Nelson finished with 18 points for the Blue Devils.
