Elkhorn girls' FTs sink Burlington

Elkhorn High's girls basketball team made 18 free throws in pulling away Thursday night for a 58-48 Southern Lakes Conference win at Burlington.

Abbie Kolacke and Erin Schaczinski combined for 23 points for the Elks.

Burlington made 10 three-point baskets but were outscored 18-2 at the free-throw line.

-- Westosha 39, Delavan-Darien 36—Kylie Collins scored a game-high 16 points but it wasn't enough for the visiting Comets.

Delavan-Darien missed 14 of 23 free-throw attempts.
