Burlington man, 69, charged with possession of child pornography

A 69-year-old Burlington man who had been convicted of the sexual assault of a child in 1990 now faces child pornography charges, according to a story from Fox6 News.
Monitoring software on Michael Romack’s computer, a condition after his sexual assault conviction, alerted his parole agent Romack was searching the internet for “prohibited subjects,” according to the story.
Romack’s computer was seized by officers from the Burlington Police Department.
If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines.
