Parker tennis earns first win; Craig falls
Parker High rolled to 7-0 victory over Beloit Memorial for its first Big Eight Conference win in girls tennis.
Parker is 1-2 in the Big Eight.
"We played well today," coach Mike Fuhrmann. We kind of overmatched Beloit."
Parker plays in the Elkhorn Quadrangular at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Craig falls
Craig lost 4-3 to Sun Prairie in Big Eight Conference girls tennis Thursday.
The Cardinals swept the Cougars in singles, but the Cougars' doubles teams swept the Cardinals.
Craig is 0-3 in the Big Eight and 2-4 overall.
"We got off to a slow start in the first set in the singles matches," Craig coach Bill Peyer said of Craig's singles play. ""We played much better the second sets."
Craig hosts Beloit Memorial on Tuesday.
