Eagle seeing rash of residential burglaries

EAGLE — Local authorities are investigating a number of recent burglaries of homes in western Waukesha County, particularly in the towns of Eagle and Ottowa, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
Some of the burglaries have been reported where thieves entered unlocked doors or slashed open screen windows or doors, often at night.
Residents are asked to check their locks, be observant and call (262) 548-7122 with any information on the burglaries.
