— Workers are putting finishing touches on the repaved section of Interstate 43 in Walworth County that started in February, but work will continue into November for the stretch of I-43 in Waukesha County, according to a story in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The I-43 project stretches from Elkhorn to New Berlin in Waukesha County. According to a DOT spokesman, lanes in the 14.5-mile stretch from Elkhorn to Mukwonago have reopened. Work on the 6.8-mile stretch between Wisconsin highways 83 and 164 are still under construction, and speeds are reduced to 55 mph in those areas.
