Opening on WalCoMet Commission

— The Walworth County Board will be considering an appointment to one position on the Walworth County Metropolitan Sewerage District (WalCoMet) Commission. WalCoMet operates a wastewater treatment system and equipment, and remote lift stations serving jurisdictions in Walworth County. WalCoMet commissioners oversee the sewerage district’s operations and make recommendations concerning system management and WalCoMet operations. Applicants must reside in the Walworth County Metropolitan Sewerage District service area.

“Notice of Interest” citizen applications are available upon request from the county administrator’s office, P.O. Box 1001, Room 112 Government Center, 100 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn, Wis. 53121. An application may also be obtained by email request to County Administrator Dave Bretl at dbretl@co.walworth.wi.us. The deadline to submit an application is 5 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 7. Applications should be submitted to the Walworth County Administrator, P.O. Box 1001/Room 112 Government Center, Elkhorn, WI 53121.
