David Hurlbut (5-5) led three Beloit pitchers combined to hold the Timber Rattlers to three hits. Hurlbut allowed one run on two hits, notched five strikeouts and walked one in six innings for the victory.

Beloit reliever Tim Atherton held Wisconsin hitless through two innings and closer Mason Melotakis surrendered a solo homer in the ninth.
