— Old World Wisconsin plans to offer guests a tour of sites mentioned in two murder mystery novels featuring the historical museum in Eagle.

Author Kathleen Ernst and museum research curator Marty Perkins will lead the tour on the morning of Aug. 12. Participants will learn about parts of the museum that inspired Ernst’s “Old World Murder” and “The Heirloom Murders” novels, attend a private reception and get free museum admission for the day.

Participants must reserve a spot on the tour by registering online by Aug. 10. Tickets are $25.

Old World Wisconsin comprises more than 65 historic buildings relocated from around the state and represents the material and cultural history of nearly a dozen ethnic groups.
