— For local residents who still have questions on whether they’re registered to vote, where they’ll vote, or who’s on the ballot in the Wisconsin spring election and presidential primary tomorrow, April 3, help is a click away.

The Walworth County Clerk’s office has a voting FAQ on its website, and a link to the Government Accountability Board for more information on voter registration.

The GAB notes that Wisconsin residents can register to vote on Election Day at their polling place, as long as they bring proof of their residence. Acceptable forms of proof must include a current and complete name and a current and complete residential address, including a numbered street address, if any, and the name of a municipality.

Viewers to the GAB website can also do searches to see their voting history, look up their polling place location based on their address, check absentee ballot status if they are a military or overseas voter, and even see candidates or referendums in their particular municipality's election.

For more information on the candidates for the county board, local school boards and other municipalities, see the Walworth County Sunday March 25 e-edition HERE.
