Davis, Warhawks roll; Miller nets 200th win
Chris Davis continues to shine for UW-Whitewater’s men’s basketball team.
The junior scored 16 points and hauled down 10 rebounds Sunday to lead the Warhawks to a 67-57 win over Pomona-Pitzer College as part of the Occidental College Tournament.
Whitewater (8-4) led by four at halftime before pulling away early in the second half.
The win was coach Pat Miller’s 200th at Whitewater.
Whitewater will play tournament host Occidental College tonight.
