DELAVAN—The gun in a weekend gang-related shooting here was recovered by police who continue to straighten out charges against four Delavan people implicated in the gun play in which no one was injured.

Police Chief Tim O’Neill said the investigation continues as to why one gang opened fire on another gang in downtown Delevan. The shooting led to an early-morning standoff Sunday in front of a Delavan home.

O’Neill said the gangs have had a long-standing feud, and the gunfire was done in retaliation.

Jeremy Soto, 25, and Jesse Soto, 29, both of Delavan, and Jesus and Guadalupe Valadez, both 30 and of Delavan, were arrested in the incident. It could not be immediately learned if charges were filed or if they remained Monday in Walworth County Jail.
