Rock County authorities may have solved a series of tavern burglaries. T

he Rock County Sheriff's Office has been investigating the September burglaries at the Afton Pub, Castaway Bar. Bogg Trotters. and Hanson's Hallow Bar. The burglars would break into the game machines, change machines, and even the safes in the bars, sometimes hauling them off and dumping them in the Rock River. Late last week Rock County detectives, along with deputies from the Rock County Special Investigations Unit, found themselves following suspects in the Cambridge area in Jefferson County. Shortly after a burglar alarm sounded at the D-Day Bar, a search of the area resulted in two arrests.

Facing possible charges are 32-year-old Daniel J. Hodge of Janesville, and 26-year-old Brandon E. Kinder of Whitewater.
