FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities arrested a Burlington man after they say he traveled to northern Arizona and allegedly made death threats against his estranged wife.

Coconino County Sheriff's deputies and Arizona Department of Public Safety officers took 34-year-old Frederick Taylor into custody March 3, 2010.

A relative told authorities that Taylor was in the Flagstaff area and making death threats against his wife and anyone else who might be in her home. Responding deputies say they located items that indicated Taylor had been near the residence.

He was later located riding in a taxi cab in Flagstaff and arrested without incident. His estranged wife was found safe at an undisclosed location. Authorities say Taylor was booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility on one count of misdemeanor threats and one count of probation violation.
