MUKWONAGO Concerns by teammates over Facebook postings they thought suggested an improper relationship between a high school athlete and her coach have led to an investigation.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that police searched the Milwaukee apartment and Mukwonago High computer of a former Brown Deer High School soccer coach and Mukwonago High School teacher.
The applications for the search warrants indicated police were looking for evidence of the crime of sexual assault of a child by a school staff person, a felony punishable by up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Brown Deer School District administrator Deb Kerr indicated Tuesday the subject of the investigation is not currently on the district staff as either a coach or teacher.
Mukwonago High School Principal Dale Henry indicated he could not comment Wednesday.
