MILTON TOWNSHIP — Philanthropy has long been important to Dave Mansur. Having lived in Rock County his entire life, the successful Realtor and business owner feels a drive to support local organizations, and a list of charities he’s supported in the past reads like a who’s-who of area nonprofits.

“We’re just big believers in community,” he said. “We want to give, and support our community as we’re able.”

Now, Mansur has found a way to think outside the box with regards to his giving. Just over a month ago, he put his 8,300-square-foot, six-bedroom, 10-car-garage luxury home on the market.

Mansur decided that he would give $25,000 from the sale of his home to United Way of North Rock County.

“I’m hoping to champion a cause that creates some additional thought,” he said.
