Sunday night was a deadly one on Walworth County roads.

Law enforcement responded to three fatal car crashes in the county, sheriff's department Capt. Scott McClory said.

-- A woman was killed when her car rolled over at 1:25 a.m. Monday on southbound Interstate 43 near North Road in Darien Township, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.

The driver left the far left lane and entered the median. She tried but was unable to get control of her Nissan Pathfinder and get back on the highway. The vehicle swerved back into the median and rolled, the release says. Neither alcohol nor drugs appears to be a factor in the crash. The victim's name and address are not being released pending notification of relatives.

-- One person died after a two-car crash about midnight Sunday on Lincoln Street just north of Rockwell Street in Elkhorn, police department Capt. Patrick Slattery said. It is not clear if the victim died as a result of the crash or another reason, Slattery said. Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Slattery would not comment on the other driver's injuries. No other information was available Monday evening.

-- One person died in a car crash in Geneva Township on Sunday night. An autopsy was scheduled today, a department spokesman said. No other details were available Monday evening.
